Dwayne Bacon, former player of Panathinaikos and Monaco, will reportedly continue his career in the Chinese league, according to Sportando.
The American spent the last two seasons in EuroLeague clubs and has been a free agent for some time, despite being one of the top scorers in the league during that period.
It seems he will continue his career in China. Additionally, there are reports that former Asvel player Frank Jackson will also continue his career in the world’s most populous country.
Dwayne Bacon found himself in an uncomfortable situation last year. Panathinaikos was forced to terminate their collaboration with him due to inappropriate behavior. He didn’t receive serious offers from EuroLeague teams for a while, and his most recent engagement was with the Israeli second-division club Maccabi Ra’anana.
With this team, he played several games against NBA teams, where he made a notable impact. Against the Cleveland Cavaliers, he scored 14 points, 17 against the Brooklyn Nets, and 26 against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Bacon played 27 EuroLeague games and is remembered as a skilled and effective scorer. On average, he scored just above 16 points per game and grabbed a little over three rebounds.
