Dwight Howard, NBA champion with the Los Angeles Lakers, reminisced about the playoff series he played against the Denver Nuggets and Nikola Jokic on his podcast.
That series took place in the 2020 Western Conference Finals in the famous bubble, in the season when the Lakers won the championship, and Dwight Howard played quite well defensively against Nikola Jokic on that occasion.
He also recalled some encounters he had with Nikola Jokic in that bubble.
“This shows how much I respect him as a player when I literally follow him every moment. He looked at me confused, like he was wondering, what the hell is going on with Dwight? It went to that point… For example, their cafeteria was across from ours. What did I do? I went in there with them. I talked to the players, coaches, even with him! I did all that because for me, it was a mental game. People thought I was joking and having fun, they didn’t understand my game,” concluded the former Lakers player.

LÓGICO que as coisas são completamente diferentes hoje. Howard mais velho, Jokic melhor…
Dito isso, traga o homem de volta!
