Asvel has secured an important signing for the upcoming season, as the experienced Edwin Jackson will continue to wear the club’s jersey.

Last season, Edwin Jackson played 31 games in the EuroLeague, averaging 5.3 points and 1.1 rebounds.
He will soon turn 35 years old and has played for many clubs, including Barcelona, Unicaja, Buducnost, Nanterre, and Estudiantes.
So far, Asvel has brought in Admiral Schofield, Neal Sako, and Shaquille Harrison as new additions.
The club has already seen the departures of Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot, Mike Scott, and young Noam Yaacov, while the contracts of Paris Lee, Nando De Colo, Youssoupha Fall, and Deshaun Thomas have expired.
Chris Jones, the 31-year-old guard, has decided to stay with Valencia for the next season, despite playing in the EuroCup.
It is well known that Jones was highly sought after by many EuroLeague clubs, but he chose to remain in Valencia.
Last season, this 31-year-old guard played 33 games for Valencia in the EuroLeague, averaging 12.7 points, 4.2 assists, and 2.1 rebounds.
So far, Valencia has seen the departures of Brandon Davies, Guillem Ferrando, Boubacar Toure, Alpha Kaba, Kevin Pangos, Jared Harper, Damien Inglis, Kassius Robertson, and Victor Claver, who has retired.
Joining the club are Matt Costello, Nate Sestina, Ethan Happ, and Brancou Badio.
