Ettore Messina and Shavon Shields have expressed their expectations ahead of the EuroLeague game against Asvel, coached by Gianmarco Pozzecco.
In the ‘fashion city,’ they are quite cautious about the matchup in the 15th round of the elite competition against the representatives from France. Additionally, the Italian expert and national team coach are now visiting as an opponent. Ettore Messina is looking forward to the encounter.
Adding to the coach’s words, one of the best players in the current part of the season, Shavon Shields, stated:
“Asvel is a much better team than the results show. They have several experienced players alongside an excellent coach on the bench. Our goal is to continue progressing through the upcoming games, to maintain momentum, and to make an additional leap in our game.”
Milano currently has a record of 5-9, while Asvel occupies the last place on the table, having won only two out of 14 played games.
