Ettore Messina, the head coach of Milano, spoke to the media after the game against Virtus in the EuroLeague’s 33rd round.
The last round will be extremely interesting.
“Now we have to work and strive to prepare for the next game in the best possible way, and the ups and downs in the season, for many reasons, are leading us to play better now and with more cohesion, and that should encourage us in the championship, which is an important goal for us.
We have to look forward, strive to stay positive, and learn from what didn’t work for us. We have one more game in the EuroLeague to see if we’ll be good enough to win it and if we’ll be lucky with the other results. It will be very complicated and very tough, but we have to respect the competition and play the best we can.”
Milano will be visiting Maccabi Tel Aviv in the last round, while Virtus will host Baskonia.
