Fenerbahce convincingly defeated Darussafaka on their home court by 110:77 in the Turkish Super League’s 28th round.
On this occasion, Sarunas Jasikevicius decided to rest Marko Guduric, Nick Calathes, Johnathan Motley, Yam Madar, Nate Sestina, and Georgios Papagiannis.
The first quarter already showed the realistic balance of power. Fenerbahce won it by 35:20, and the visiting team faced even greater problems as one of their key players, Enes Taskiran, had to leave the court due to an ankle injury. Fenerbahce’s three-point shooting worked excellently, allowing them to maintain their lead comfortably until halftime. In the third quarter, Sarunas Jasikevicius’ team definitively broke Darussafaka’s resistance, extending the lead to 26 points (84:58), and they maintained this advantage until the end of the game.
The top scorer for the winning team was Nigel Hayes-Davis with 19 points, followed by Sehmus Hazer with 17. For Darussafaka, Muhsin Yasar was the best performer with 23 points, while Lloyd Pandi contributed 16.
Fenerbahce currently holds a record of 23-5 and is in second place, behind Anadolu Efes. Darussafaka has 12 wins and 16 losses and will have a tough battle to reach the playoffs by the end of the season.

In the second game of the day, Bahcesehir convincingly defeated Samsunspor away by 105:69.
The top scorers for the winning team were Axel Bouteille and Berkay Candan, each with 14 points, followed by Kartal Ozmizrak with 13 points. In the home team, Tarik Sezgun scored 12 points, while Dogan Senli contributed 11 points.
Bahcesehir has recently found good form in the Turkish Super League, marking their third consecutive win and keeping them in the playoff race. They now have 12 wins and 16 losses, competing with several other teams for a spot among the top eight. On the other hand, Samsunspor is currently at the bottom of the league table with only three wins and 25 losses.
