In the 29th round game of the Turkish Super League, Galatasaray easily defeated the bottom-placed team in the league, Samsunspor, at home by 113:69.
The visitors, who have only three wins this season, came out with a lot of confidence and won the first quarter 28:23. In the following, the home team consolidated, and by halftime, they managed to turn the game around, going into the break with a lead of 46:39.
They continued their dominance in the second half, with Galatasaray’s players continuing to crush their opponents in the third quarter. Galatasaray scored a remarkable 40 points in this quarter, and heading into the final 10 minutes, they had an unreachable lead of 86:54.
Akwasi Yeboah was the top scorer for Galatasaray with 15 points. Samet Geyik contributed 14 points, Klemen Prepelic scored 13 and Dee Bost had 12. On the other side, Dogan Senli scored 14 points, while Bora Satir recorded a triple-double with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists.
After this win, Galatasaray is in fifth place with 15 wins and 14 losses, while Samsunspor remains at the bottom with a record of 3-26.
