EuroLeague conducted its traditional mid-season survey among the general managers of the elite competition’s clubs.
Zeljko Obradovic was named the best coach with 33.3% of the votes, followed by Luca Banchi (27.8%) and Chus Mateo (27.8%).
There was also voting on which four teams would make it to the EuroLeague Final Four in Berlin, and the results are as follows: Real Madrid (88.9%), Monaco (66.7%), Barcelona (66.7%), and Partizan (44.4%).
Facundo Campazzo leads the race for the MVP award with 55.6%, followed by Mike James with 22.2%.
Walter Tavares received the most votes for Defensive Player of the Year (33.3%), while the title of “clutch” player of the year seems to be leaning towards Mike James.
As for the “Rising Star” award, Gabriele Procida is currently in the lead with 38.9% of the votes.
