Georgios Bartzokas provided an update on the injured players ahead of the double round in the EuroLeague, where Olympiacos will face Milano and Partizan.
Although there were initially reports that Luke Sikma would be out for at least two weeks due to a calf injury, the situation has improved. The experienced center will be part of the rotation for the match against Milano scheduled for Tuesday, and then they will face Partizan.
Regarding Nigel Williams-Goss, the possibility of his return is not ruled out: “We will see what happens with him. Sikma will be among the 12 and ready for the Milano game. He’s in training,” said Georgios Bartzokas after Olympiacos’ victory in the Greek league against AEK.
What is at least certain for now is that Shaquille McKissic’s condition has not changed, and the American basketball player will definitely miss the mentioned matches. After a knee injury, his recovery is expected to take another two to three weeks.
In the previous part of the EuroLeague, Olympiacos played two games. They defeated Panathinaikos at the start of the season but were then defeated by Barcelona on their home court after thrilling finish.
