Gilbert Arenas, the retired NBA player and podcaster, has criticized Stephen Curry and Nikola Jokic.
The impact of the Golden State Warriors superstar on the game of basketball cannot be overstated, thanks to his unparalleled shooting ability and remarkable success both on and off the court. And despite his incredible accomplishments, he’s not finished yet.
However, retired NBA veteran Gilbert Arenas recently stirred the pot by suggesting that Stephen Curry is not a generational talent on his “Gil’s Arena” podcast.
“Steph is not a generational talent,” Arenas boldly declared. “You know what a generational — [Victor Wembanyama] is a generational person that is a generational talent. Generational means you can’t mimic it.”
Arenas went on to argue that players like Magic Johnson, Shaquille O’Neal, and LeBron James possess physical traits that cannot be replicated, making them truly generational talents. However, he does not include Curry or Nikola Jokic in this category because he believes their physical attributes are more accessible to other players.
Despite Arenas’ controversial remarks, Curry has amassed an impressive resume, including four NBA Championships, 10 All-NBA and All-Star selections, and two NBA MVP awards over his 15 seasons with the Golden State Warriors. Similarly, Jokic has made a significant impact during his nine seasons with the Denver Nuggets, leading them to their first NBA title while consistently delivering standout performances on the court.

And how does Arenas’ record compare to either of those players? Sometimes, it’s best to be quiet….
Arenas never fails to say some of the most idiotic comments about basketball you will ever hear.
Gilbert, has made everyone who already forgot that he was in the league, now remember him for all his dumb comments lately, sheeesh !! I’ll just say dumb shit to get attention
Not sure why you guys wasted your time writing about Arenas stupidity. He’s a hater because he wished he had a career like these two MVPS.
