Guerschon Yabusele has been named the MVP of the second round of the EuroLeague after Real Madrid’s win over Anadolu Efes by 103:80.
The Frenchman truly played a masterful game in Istanbul, as reflected in his performance index rating of 39. He finished the game with 22 points, eight rebounds, and four assists.
Guerschon Yabusele didn’t miss a single three-point shot (3/3) or free throw (7/7). He had only one missed field goal attempt (3/4) but still had an excellent performance in that category as well.
It’s worth noting that Yabusele completed the game without a single turnover and spent 26 minutes on the court.
“I was just trying to find my rhythm and make my teammates feel great. I don’t look at personal statistics; all I want is to win, that’s the most important thing,” Guerschon stated.
Yabusele is currently averaging 20 points per game in the elite competition, and Real Madrid continues to be unbeaten on both fronts (Endesa League, EuroLeague).
In the next round, Real Madrid will host Zalgiris on Tuesday at 20:45.
