Guerschon Yabusele spoke in an interview with ‘L’Equipe’ about Real Madrid, as well as the Olympic Games and the NBA.
The Frenchman was brutally honest in his views. He mentioned that he wants to return to the best league in the world one day, but there’s a catch.
“I no longer want to experience seasons where I wait to find out if I will play, as was the case in Boston and in China. I want to return to the NBA, but I am playing for the best European team and winning titles. Why would I leave that to polish the bench there? Perhaps young people do that today,” Guerschon Yabusele began.
Olympic Games
“This summer, the national team will be my priority right after the end of the season, so I won’t be waiting for the NBA. I’m looking forward to the Olympic Games.
In his hometown of Dreux, he will carry the Olympic torch through the city. He emphasized that it would be a moment of pride.
“It’s a huge source of pride for the city and for my former club Alliance de Dreux. My family is happy, and I am proud. I’ve been told that it could potentially coincide with the preparations of the French national team, but I hope we’ll find a way for me to be involved. Carrying the Olympic flame in my hometown, that doesn’t happen every day.”
