Nemanja Dangubic witnessed history in today’s game as PAOK, in a defeat against Peristeri, scored only 35 points.
An incredible game unfolded in the suburbs of Athens. PAOK seemed helpless for a significant part of the game, and the shocking statistic is that they scored only 11 points in the second half. The first quarter already signaled trouble as the home team quickly gained an 11-point lead. Vasilis Spanoulis‘ players continued in the same rhythm, leading 44-26 at halftime.
In the third quarter, the players from the Thessaloniki club managed only one shot out of eight attempts. Yes, you read it correctly. Peristeri players eased off the gas and smoothly concluded this historic match, but not in a positive sense. Nemanja Dangubic scored only two points in this encounter, with Jordan Love leading with 19 points.
Miroslav Raduljica was solid in the defeat suffered by his Marousi, which experienced a debacle. Former Borac Cacak player, Hunter Hale, dominated the yellow-black team, scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. The final score was 95:70. Promitheas continues with strong performances and is a pleasant surprise in the Greek Basket League. They currently hold the third position, trailing behind the giants Olympiacos and Panathinaikos, who assertively dominate the top positions.
