Igor Milicic, the coach of the Polish national team, has announced the final roster for the Olympic Games qualifying tournament.
Poland will compete in the qualifying tournament in Valencia, grouped with Finland and the Bahamas, while the other group includes the host team alongside Lebanon and Angola. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals, with only the tournament winner earning a spot in Paris.
Coach Igor Milicic has decided on the 12 players who will aim to qualify for the Olympic Games, led by San Antonio Spurs player Jeremy Sochan, current European champion with Panathinaikos Aleksander Balcerowski, and Mateusz Ponitka.
Poland’s roster of 12 players is as follows:
Jeremy Sochan, Aleksander Balcerowski, Aleksander Dziewa, Andrzej Mazurczak, Michal Michalak, Igor Milicic Jr., Andrzej Pluta, Mateusz Ponitka, A.J. Slaughter, Michal Sokolowski, Przemyslaw Zolnierewicz, Jaroslaw Zyskowski.
Poland will play their first game against the Bahamas on Wednesday, and their second group game will be against Finland on Thursday.
