Ioannis Sfairopoulos, the new coach of Crvena Zvezda, confirmed the absence of two significant players in the “eternal” derby during an open media training session.
It was previously known that Nemanja Nedovic would not play due to a lower back injury. Now, it has been officially confirmed by the Greek coach on the team’s bench. Besides Nedovic, a significant blow to Crvena Zvezda will be the absence of Branko Lazic.
He suffered a rib injury during the game against FMP, and it appears to be more serious than initially expected, which is why he won’t be available for his team in the game against Partizan. This was the first official game where Ioannis Sfairopoulos led the team.
