Crvena Zvezda has determined the list of travelers to Nis, where they will defend the Radivoj Korac Cup trophy won in the previous season.
The list includes 14 licensed players, among whom Javonte Smart, Freddie Gillespie, and Trey Thompkins will not be found.
Crvena Zvezda is taking the following 14 names into the battle for the first trophy of this season: Stefan Lazarevic, Milos Teodosic, Adam Hanga, Dejan Davidovac, Luka Mitrovic, Branko Lazic, Joel Bolomboy, Dalibor Ilic, Nemanja Nedovic, Rokas Giedraitis, Yago Dos Santos, Andrej Lucic, Andrej Kostic, and Stefan Marjanovic.
Since 2008, only three clubs have won the Radivoj Korac Cup. Partizan achieved it eight times, while Crvena Zvezda won it one less time, and Mega also secured the Cup. Last year, the red and whites claimed the title after defeating Partizan in the semifinals.
Earlier today, Partizan also announced the squad traveling to the Cup: Tristan Vukcevic, Aleksa Avramovic, Balsa Koprivica, Kevin Punter, Alen Smailagic, Ognjen Jaramaz, James Nunnally, Zach LeDay, P.J. Dozier, Danilo Andjusic, Uros Trifunovic, and Frank Kaminsky.
This year’s draw ensures that the eternal rivals can potentially meet only in the final game for the trophy.
The Radivoj Korac Cup will take place from February 14th to 17th in Nis. Ioannis Sfairopoulos and the team will play their first match against FMP.
