Israel Gonzalez, the coach of Alba Berlin, spoke ahead of the 14th round of the EuroLeague in which his team will face Crvena Zvezda.
The Spanish expert spoke highly of the red and whites, particularly emphasizing the challenges of playing in Belgrade.
“Crvena Zvezda team has a lot of talent and always demonstrates significant individual strength. They play very good basketball and are physically strong, especially under the basket. They also have a deep roster with many offensive options. It will be a tough task for us, especially playing away in Belgrade. Nevertheless, we showed good things on the court last week against Zalgiris and also occasionally against Anadolu Efes, and I hope we can carry that momentum with us,” said Israel Gonzalez.
Justin Bean also spoke ahead of tomorrow’s game:
“Crvena Zvezda is a very physically strong team and also very dangerous beyond the three-point line. They’ve had some issues in the EuroLeague – but so have we. Moreover, we are competing in Belgrade, and the home advantage is enormous, especially there. We have to bring energy to the court from the very beginning,” said Justin Bean.
