New York Knicks played another excellent game and defeated the Indiana Pacers 130:91, with Jalen Brunson once again as the hero.
The Knicks continue their impressive run in this NBA playoffs. Despite doubts from many after Julius Randle’s injury, they’ve shown that they are a team above all.
The first quarter saw a back-and-forth battle with a focus on offense, resulting in a combined 72 points scored in the first 12 minutes. However, the Pacers imposed their game rhythm in the second quarter and went into halftime with a double-digit lead.
The situation looked even worse for the home team when Jalen Brunson went to the locker room due to a foot injury. However, he returned during the third quarter, which triggered a significant turnaround for the Knicks. They played great defense and made smart offensive decisions, winning that period 36:18. From that point on, the Pacers were not competitive, and the home team closed out the game comfortably.
Brunson led the winning team with 29 points. OG Anunoby and Donte DiVincenzo also had excellent performances, each scoring 28 points. On the other side, Tyrese Haliburton scored 34 points, and Obi Toppin added 20.
The next game is scheduled for May 11th at 01:00.
