Jamal Murray, a player for the Denver Nuggets, has officially been penalized for placing a heat pack on the court during a game.
The Denver Nuggets had two forgettable games. The team was convincingly defeated by the Minnesota Timberwolves, and the reigning champions must significantly improve their game if they want to continue their quest to defend the championship. This particularly applies to Jamal Murray, one of the team’s key players, who currently seems to be struggling.
He is aware of this himself and showed a great deal of frustration in the last game. His frustration boiled over in Game 2 when he threw a heat pack onto the court from the bench. The officials did not notice the incident, so Murray avoided a technical foul during the game. Head coach Michael Malone was not aware of the incident and offered no comment.
