Jaron Blossomgame extended his contract with Monaco and he will stay in the principality until the year 2026.
Reportedly, the 30-year-old player was in negotiations with Barcelona, but he ultimately decided to stay with Sasa Obradovic’s team.
He joined Monaco two years ago and has been an important piece of the team that reached the first Final Four in the club’s history on the French Riviera.
Jaron Blossomgame began his career with the San Antonio Spurs’ developmental team and spent the first few years of his career in the NBA D-League. His first European engagement was with Ironi Nahariya, and then he wore the Ulm jersey.
Last season, he averaged 6.6 points and 3.3 rebounds. He reached the EuroLeague quarterfinals, where Monaco was defeated by Fenerbahce, and he was twice the French champion with this team. The “Princes” also extended Mike James’s contract.
Monaco also signed Nick Calathes whose two clutch threes led Fenerbahce to the Final Four. The irony is, it was against the team he would sign for in the near future.
