Jason Kidd has signed a new multi-year deal with the Dallas Mavericks according to Shams Charania of the “Athletic”.
The American has decided to stay in Texas, amidst their play-off run. The “Mavs” have defeated the Los Angeles Clippers in the first round of the Western Conference by 4 games to 2.
Jason Kidd had a very successful playing career. He won an NBA championship in 2011, and after he hung up his boots, he decided to enter in the coaching realm.
An opportunity arose quickly and he became the head coach of the Brooklyn Nets, then he had a stint with the Milwaukee Bucks and he was an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Lakers. Kidd became the head coach of the Dallas Mavericks in 2021. His next challenge is the Western Conference semifinals where his team will play against Oklahoma City Thunder.
