Jason Terry is known in the world for his basketball career, but now he has become public because of the lawsuit he received.
We are used to many NBA basketball players going downhill after the end of their careers. It didn’t seem like Jason Terry was one of them, given the fact that he turned to coaching, where he currently works as an assistant coach with the Utah Jazz. However, during the previous day, surprising news appeared in America.
He is facing lawsuit for allegedly refusing to pay $25,000 for a diamond-encrusted Rolex watch that he initially rented for an event(nightclub in Las Vegas) but later agreed to purchase from a well-known New York jeweler, Eric Mavachev, also known as “Eric Da Jeweler.”
The lawsuit asserts that Mavachev agreed to sell the watch to Terry for $25,000, an offer Terry accepted. On July 10, Terry sent a text to Mavachev, indicating that he would wire the money on July 13, but the payment was never made, and Terry allegedly ignored Mavachev’s messages.
Mark Shirian, the attorney representing Mavachev, claims that they gave Terry a 30-day window to settle the debt, which he failed to do, leading to this breach of contract lawsuit. As of now, Terry has not responded to requests for comment on the matter.
