Jaylen Brown, Boston Celtics player, spoke at the press conference after his team’s win in Game 1 against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Jaylen Brown was the standout player for his team in Game 1 against the Cleveland Cavaliers. He scored 32 points with excellent shooting from the field (12/18). However, the Boston Celtics bench did an outstanding job in this game. Particularly, Luke Kornet stood out, taking advantage of Kristaps Porzingis‘ absence and playing a very good game. He scored 4 points, grabbed 10 rebounds, and played brilliantly on the defensive end of the court.
“I thought Luke Kornet was exceptional when he came in. He was great. He came in, he added value to the second group, he contested shots at the rim, he rebounded and he made timely plays on offense. He’s had some injuries up and down, but Luke has been tremendous for our team,” Brown said.
The Boston Celtics lead the series 1-0, and the next game will be played on Friday morning at 1:00 AM.
