Jaylen Brown, player of the Boston Celtics, spoke at the press conference after the crucial win against the Cleveland Cavaliers by 93:106.
There was an immediate reaction from the Boston Celtics. They allowed themselves to relax in the second quarter, leading to a defeat at home, but in the third game, they defeated the Cavaliers and reclaimed the breakthrough. Jayson Tatum was outstanding, but he had great support from Jaylen Brown, who emphasized after the game that the team didn’t come to Cleveland as tourists.
“Just trying to take all of it, I think that’s what we need. I think we just need everybody to be on the same page and everybody to come out with the right effort, and that’s 85% of the battle right there. We come out and play hard, and we’re on the same page and the rest will take care of itself.
We’ve got enough talent in the locker room to beat teams but if we’re not on the same page and we aren’t playing hard, that’s when we get ourselves in trouble. Making sure before the game, in film, in shoot around, talking to everybody, touching everybody, letting everyone know like ‘hey, we’re not here to play around. We didn’t come to Cleveland for the weather, so, let’s go“, Jaylen Brown said.
The next game is scheduled for May 14th at 01:00.
