Jayson Tatum, the leader of the Boston Celtics, stated in an interview with ESPN that he believes he is the best player in the NBA.
Clearly, the American does not lack self-confidence, as he told the largest American media outlet that he thinks he is the best player in the world’s strongest league.
“Who is the best player in the NBA? Me,” Jayson Tatum stated succinctly and clearly.
It’s interesting that just a year earlier, he was asked the same question, and the answer was Giannis Antetokounmpo. However, he explained his reasoning.
“I have a lot of respect for many players in the league. Giannis is there, of course. Jokic, obviously – he won the title. Embiid, he was MVP. The league is in good hands. I really believe that every time I step on the court, I am the best player.”
