Jeremy Sochan has been added to the Poland’s extendend 17 man roster and the training camp will start on June 17th.
Igor Milicic has made his decision. He not only called up the usual players like A. J. Slaughter, Aleksander Balcerowski, and the Partizan player Mateusz Ponitka, but also included a player from the San Antonio Spurs.
That player in question is of course Jeremy Sochan. He has already played for Poland at the junior level, as well as the senior level. He participated in the qualifiers for EuroBasket 2022, but not in the tournament itself, where the red and white team reached the semifinals.
Poland will compete in the Olympic qualifying tournament in Valencia. Before that, they will have several preparatory games against Greece, Croatia, and Brazil.
In the tournament itself, they will play in Group B against Finland and the Bahamas. On the other side, in Group A, are hosts Spain, along with Angola and Lebanon. The complete roster of players includes:
