Jerian Grant, in an interview with Amerikanos24, talked about the upcoming game against Olympiacos and Gilbert Arenas’ comment.
The American emphasizes that the Red and Whites from Piraeus are playing exceptionally well, and his team expects a tough challenge at the ‘Peace and Friendship’ arena.
“They’re playing well, really well. It will be interesting to see how that game unfolds. What I can say is that we’ll be ready for that game. We’re looking forward to the derby. These clubs are big rivals, there’s a lot of talk about the game, it’s total madness among the fans, we’ll see. It’s definitely the craziest atmosphere I’ve ever played in, those things are unforgettable.”
Jerian Grant hopes his team will maintain their position in the standings, securing home-court advantage for the playoffs.
“We want that win, we want to secure home-court advantage in the playoffs. We’re focused on that goal.”
Gilbert Arenas recently commented on how the NBA has ‘softened’ to allow Europeans to excel in it.
“He’s just talking, you can see for yourself what Europeans are doing in the NBA. They’re playing well, and people just talk. I don’t even think he believes that. He was a great player after all, but look at the caliber of players coming from Europe to the NBA. We need them.”
