Jonas Valanciunas played a fantastic game in the crucial win of the New Orleans Pelicans against the Sacramento Kings by 105:97.
The New Orleans Pelicans didn’t let the second chance for a NBA playoff spot slip away. After a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first game, this match meant everything to them. The entire season boiled down to 48 minutes, all without Zion Williamson.
However, excellent defense for most of the game and a brilliant run in the second quarter secured them a series against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the playoffs. One of the key contributors was Jonas Valanciunas, who scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
“We stayed together. We we supported each other. We played for each other. We all want to get to the playoffs. And we did it by playing good basketball, by supporting each other, helping each other on defense, on offense, sharing the ball, you know, making a right play. It’s fun basketball to play that way“, Valanciunas said.
