Jordan Loyd spoke about Monaco, Crvena Zvezda, Partizan, and his ambitions in the EuroLeague in an interview for Meridian Sport.
The American player has faced a series of unfortunate injuries in the past few seasons, often resulting in his absence on the court against the eternal rivals in Belgrade.
“Incredible, isn’t it? Bad luck, but that’s life. I’ve been playing basketball for over 20 years, with ups and downs, but the most important thing is to maintain a positive outlook on everything. I am healthy, feel much better, and look forward.”
This season, Jordan Loyd couldn’t play against the Belgrade red and whites, but he is ready for the showdown with the Partizan.
“It’s always nice to come back here. I carry a lot of great memories from the time I played for Crvena Zvezda. I love the city, and I’m always glad when I can come back, even to play this time. Lately, whenever I was supposed to come, I was injured. I am excited to play now. I want to help the team in any way, especially now as I am getting back into form after the injury. If I hit a few shots, it would be great.”
