Maccabi Tel Aviv secured a win in the 17th round of the EuroLeague in Kaunas with a score of 78:70, led by Josh Nebo’s outstanding performance.
The game started with a beautiful shot from Josh Nebo, followed by Rolands Smits scoring the first points for the home team. Maccabi then initiated a mini-run, broken by Keenan Evans‘ three-pointer. Edmond Sumner later hit a three, and Zalgiris showcased excellent three-point shooting, taking a lead of 14:8. The first quarter concluded with a score of 18:16.
Lorenzo Brown brought his team back into the game, and Sumner scored rapidly in transition. Bonzie Colson finally landed the first three-pointer for “Pride of Israel.” The game then entered a phase with few events on both sides, and the first half ended with a score of 33:32 in favor of the hosts, as Brown hit a shot at the buzzer.
