The young point guard excelled in the team’s victory over Brazil, leading with 13 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.
“This is just the beginning, I’m just trying to help the team. Now it’s time to finish the group stage well and give our all in the next phase,” Nunez said with experience.
He emphasized the importance of the defense they played against Brazil.
“It was crucial to limit them to 78 points. Brazil is a team that usually scores around a hundred, which speaks highly of our defense” Nunez stated.
