Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves player, spoke to the media after his team’s win over the Denver Nuggets.
Karl-Anthony Towns played a solid game number one in the series. He scored 20 points. However, the main star of the game was Anthony Edwards with 43 points scored.
“Everybody talks about the ‘Big 3,’ the me, Rudy Gobert, and Anthony Edwards combo, but we really have a ‘Big 15.’ We have fifteen guys who are tremendously gifted at basketball and have the chance to be playing in a lot of teams in the NBA. We are just very fortunate that all of us got together in one team.
Naz Reid, Nickeil Alexander-Walker… Man, we could keep going down the list. Those guys are really the reasons we won the game. Just to be able to have our bench come through the way they did tonight,” Karl-Anthony Towns said.
Minnesota Timberwolves lead 1-0 in the series against the Denver Nuggets, and the next game is scheduled for Tuesday morning at 4:00.
