Kendrick Nunn, a player of Panathinaikos, has signed a new two-year contract with the Greek club, announced by Chemas de Lucas.
Kendrick Nunn has played another series of excellent games and is absolutely instrumental in his team’s qualification for the Final Four. In the last three games, he has averaged 26 points, leading the Athens team to a turnaround in the series.
In the new contract, there will be an exit clause in case of an offer from the NBA, but it will expire on July 15. The same applies for the following year. Eurohoops has also confirmed this information, reporting that the contract will be worth ‘heavy’ five million for two seasons.
The American basketball player has had a great season. In the EuroLeague, he played 28 games, averaging 15.4 points and 3.1 assists. In the Greek League, he has a slightly smaller role but still averages 12.9 points and 4.1 assists.
Panathinaikos still has the most important battles of the season ahead. They are heading to the EuroLeague Final Four, where they will face Monaco or Fenerbahce in the semifinals, as well as the playoffs of the Greek League, where they will enter from the top position.
