Kendrick Nunn spoke to NovaSports.gr about his successful season with Panathinaikos and the new contract he signed with the club.
The talented American will play for Panathinaikos for at least two more seasons, unless a lucrative offer from the NBA comes in.
“To be honest, I didn’t expect to sign a new contract. I came here to get an opportunity to play for a year, but during the season I simply embraced everything. It’s an honor to have received a contract to continue the collaboration, this is a great club with an amazing fan base.”
Kendrick Nunn has quickly become a fan favorite among the “Greens” and one of the best players in the elite European competition.
“That’s the goal. All you need to do is win two games. I will give my all to help my team make further strides this season. Whoever wins in the other semifinal matchup, it will be fun.”
In the current EuroLeague season, Nunn is averaging 15.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and three assists per game.
