Kendrick Nunn spoke to Cosmote TV about who contacted him in the summer and what his goals are in the green jersey.
The American is shining in Athens this season. After a solid NBA episode, he headed to Europe, signing with the Athens giant, Panathinaikos. He emphasized that before that, some EuroLeague teams, including a Serbian team, contacted him.
“Olympiacos, Milano, and Partizan showed interest this summer. To be honest, I had no idea where I should go; it depended more on the people around me and my agent. For me, it is essential who the coach is and how the team plays. As I said, Panathinaikos is a new team with only two or three players from last season. It was obvious that I thought it was better to come here,” said Kendrick Nunn.
This season, he is averaging exactly 13 points and is one of Ergin Ataman‘s key players. Panathinaikos currently has a record of 12 wins and 8 losses, with the next opponent at the “OAKA” Arena being Partizan.
The game will have a special meaning for head coach Zeljko Obradovic who is coming back to Athens. With the “Greens” he has won six EuroLeague titles.
