Kendrick Nunn is the hero of Panathinaikos’ victory against AEK, with a score of 86-85 in the seventh round of the Greek championship.
Nunn strung together five points in the closing moments of the match, securing a new win for his team in the domestic championship. First, he nailed a three-pointer, narrowing the score to 85-84. Then, he made two free throws for the win. Despite the guests having the last possession, Chasson Randle missed the three-pointer.
Nunn led the winning team in scoring with 18 points, followed by Kostas Sloukas with 15, Marius Grigonis with 13, and both Mathias Lessort and Konstantinos Mitoglou with 11 each.
On the AEK side, Justin Tillman scored 20 points, Mindaugas Kuzminskas contributed 16, and Mfiondu Kabengele added 15 points.
