Kevin Porter signed a four-year contract extension with the Rockets last year, worth $82.5 million. However, it is only partially guaranteed. Due to the fact that the American guard is prone to incidents, he would receive only 16.9 million of the entire sum, if Houston decided to release him.
Porter Jr. he was selected as the 30th pick in the NBA draft. He played his rookie season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but did not join the team the following season due to personal problems. After that, he signed with Houston.
