On Wednesday, Klemen Prepelic left Cedevita Olimpija, and on the same day, the name of the Slovenian national team player’s new club emerged.
After the expiration of a two-month contract, Prepelic left Cedevita Olimpija, and his new club is reported to be the Turkish team Galatasaray, as per Eurohoops.
Before Cedevita Olimpija, the 31-year-old player spent the last few years in Spain, playing for Valencia (2020-2023), Real Madrid (2018-19), and Joventut (2019-20).
This season, wearing the Cedevita Olimpija jersey, he averaged 16.8 points and 8.2 assists in the EuroCup. He led in assists in the regional league, as well as in the second-best European competition.
In his career, he won a gold medal at the EuroBasket with Slovenia, and Klemen Prepelic can also boast of winning the Spanish championship with the royal club.
