“Maccabi Tel Aviv is a great team and they are playing at an incredible pace. It was necessary for us to respond physically to their game and to control the rebounds. The job is not done yet. We must remain humble because they deserve the moment they are in, tied 2-2.
We’ve played the whole season for this moment. We’re playing a decisive game in front of our fans. Additionally, I want to dedicate this performance to a member of our team, Paris, our thoughts are with him and we wish him a speedy recovery (a member of the coaching staff who suffered a heart attack the night before the game).
We felt pressure, I was nervous before the game, but we achieved an incredible result. Kendrick Nunn is the top scorer in the EuroLeague at the moment. We need one more win,” said Kostas Sloukas.
