Kristaps Porzingis could return to action by Game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals against the Indiana Pacers, per Adrian Wojnarowski.
Kristaps Porzingis was injured in Game 4 of the first round of the playoffs against the Miami Heat. He suffered right calf strain, causing him to miss the entire series against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Although there were concerns that he wouldn’t appear in the Eastern Conference Finals, Wojnarowski reports that the Latvian center will return by Game 4 against the Pacers.
Although the Celtics played well without Porzingis, his return will undoubtedly be significant for them in the remainder of the playoffs, as he is averaging 20.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2 assists this season.
The Boston Celtics won Game 1 against the Indiana Pacers on their home court after a dramatic overtime, and Game 2 will be played on Friday morning starting at 02:00.
