Lassi Tuovi has decided to leave Virtus and accept an offer from Japan, where he will become the head coach of the Yokohama B-Corsairs.
The head coach of the Finnish national team was serving as the first assistant to Luca Banchi until he received a call from Japan, according to BasketNews.
Lassi Tuovi bid farewell to the fans of the Bologna club through his X account, clearly indicating that he already has an agreement with the new club.
Tuovi has previously held the position of head coach only at Strasbourg and Lappeenrannan NMKY at the beginning of his career.
