LeBron James has clearly expressed his opinion regarding the vacant head coach position for the Los Angeles Lakers.
After being defeated by the Denver Nuggets in the playoffs for the second consecutive year, Los Angeles Lakers’ head coach Darvin Ham has been fired. It is still unknown who will succeed him in that position. According to Shams Charania, the team’s main star and the player with the most points in NBA history, LeBron James, will not interfere in making that decision.
“I’m told LeBron James is not involved in the Lakers head coaching search…James has made it clear that this is the organization’s decision, he’s had no conversions with the Lakers about JJ Redick,” Charania said.
The main candidates being mentioned for the position are JJ Redick, David Adelman from the Denver Nuggets, James Borrego from the New Orleans Pelicans, and Kenny Atkinson from the Golden State Warriors.
