The Los Angeles Lakers have kept their superstar. LeBron James signed a new and improved two year deal with the team.
The information was firstly brough out by none other that Adrian Wojnarowski. The ESPN insider wrote on X the following.
“Free agent LeBron James has agreed to a two-year, $104 maximum million deal to return to the Los Angeles Lakers, sources tell ESPN. Deal includes no trade clause”.
That would mean that James would be a Lakers until 2026. That would also mean that he would have played 23 seasons, which would be a record. Vince Carter currently holds it with 22 seasons played.
And of course, James would be playing with his son, Bronny James, who was drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers at 55 overall. He signed a guaranteed deal with the team.
Last season, the legend-in-the-making averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 8.3 assists per game.
