In the first two games on today’s EuroCup schedule, BC Wolves and London Lions faced off, as well as Turk Telekom and Slask Wroclaw.
Petar Bozic’s team celebrated a victory on the road in Lithuania by 101:87. The question of the winner was settled after the second quarter, which the team from the Isles dominated with a score of 31:13. After that, BC Wolves attempted to make a comeback in the game, but they were unsuccessful as the inspired London team, led by energetic American players, managed to maintain their advantage.
The top scorers for the winning team were Conor Morgan with 22 points and Gabriel Olaseni with one point less. In the defeated lineup, TreShawn Thurman stood out with 22 points and eight rebounds. It’s worth mentioning that Sam Dekker returned to the lineup from Great Britain after missing nine games.
London Lions now hold a 7-2 record, competing for the top spot in the standings alongside Paris and Besiktas. On the other hand, BC Wolves have a 4-4 record in the EuroCup, considering the Group A table.
