Luca Baraldi, the CEO of Virtus, confirmed in a press conference that Tornike Shengelia will remain with the club for the upcoming season.
He also mentioned that the team is working on a multi-year extension for the player.

The 33-year-old Georgian player showcased remarkable skills last season, posting averages of 14.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game, along with a 17.4 Performance Index Rating (PIR) across 33 EuroLeague games.
Since 2022, Shengelia has been a key player for Virtus Bologna, having previously played for CSKA Moscow and Baskonia in the EuroLeague.
