Panathinaikos, in the ninth round of the Greek league, smoothly defeated Karditsa 77-53 at home.
The ‘Greens’ controlled the game from the first to the last minute, resulting in a convincing triumph. The lead for Ergin Ataman’s team reached up to +26, but the visitors managed to slightly reduce it in the final moments.
The two top scorers for the home team were Kostas Antetokounmpo with 20 points and Luca Vildoza with 15.

The only two players in Karditsa’s lineup with double-digit points were Giorgos Kamperidis and Mitchell Smith, each scoring 10 points.
Panathinaikos remains undefeated as the leader in the Greek league with a 9-0 record, while Karditsa is in 11th place with only one win and eight losses.
The team from Athens will host PAOK in the next round, while Karditsa will welcome Olympiacos.
