According to journalist Matteo Andreani, Luca Vildoza has finished his stint with Panathinaikos and appears to be returning to Crvena zvezda.
The Argentine player had several issues in Athens, including injuries, disagreements with coach Ergin Ataman, and even having his house broken into. Therefore, it’s not surprising that he is changing his environment, and the Italian journalist reports that he could be heading back to Crvena Zvezda.
Matteo Andreani states that the deal is done and that the former NBA player will return to Belgrade and once again don the red and white jersey.
This season, Luca Vildoza is averaging 5.8 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists. He played 27 EuroLeague games for the “Greens,” starting in only five. On average, he spent about 15 minutes on the court.
In the previous season, as a player for Crvena zvezda, Luca Vildoza averaged 24 minutes, 12.6 points, 3.9 assists, and 2.5 rebounds.
