The Argentine then attempted to draw a comparison between the fans of Panathinaikos and Crvena zvezda.
“I still don’t know. I think they showed us that love in the first EuroLeague game against Olympiacos. But I still don’t feel like I felt in Pionir with Crvena Zvezda. I think now, as we are playing well and I believe the fans are coming back to the games, they will show us. But, as I said, I’ve never felt at home like I did at Crvena zvezda. Playing in Pionir was really nice.”
After discussing the fans, it was time for a comparison of the systems employed by Dusko Ivanovic and Ergin Ataman.
“I think they are far different. Dusko was stricter with the setups, with the system. Each player had a role in that team, and I got used to that. So now, it’s harder to adapt my game to Ergin’s system. But I think in this team, we depend a lot on pick-and-roll. And the guards, of course, have a good position on the court with it.”
