Luca Vildoza shared his thoughts after Panathinaikos’ triumph over Virtus, marking the ‘Greens’ return to the winning track.
In a brief interview with SDNA, the Argentine highlighted that everything in the club is functioning well, expressing his indifference towards media reports.
“Sometimes we don’t need much to show what kind of players we are. Kendrick Nunn showed that in the first half, and I did in the second. Mathias Lessort didn’t shine in the first half, but in the continuation, he showed character and what kind of player he is. Dinos Mitoglou and Kostas Sloukas were also crucial. Everyone is playing good and efficient basketball, and that pleases me.”

Luca Vildoza doesn’t hide his curiosity about who leaked the story to the media suggesting he might be on his way out of the Athens giants.
“I was just curious to find out who leaked it to the media, but I generally don’t care. I have a three-year contract with the club, and I want to compete in the green jersey. My goal is to show the world what I can do. I was happy at Crvena Zvezda, I miss Belgrade. I had a good time there, and they gave me the opportunity to return to Europe and showcase some things. I love them, but I’m here now. I love Panathinaikos, and I’m happy here.”
Panathinaikos now has a record of five wins and four losses. The ‘Greens’ will host Valencia in the next round of the EuroLeague.
