Luca Vildoza led Panathinaikos to win in the eighth round of the Greek Basket League against Kolossos on the road by 81:78.
The “Greens” led throughout the entire game, with a notable performance in the third quarter where they held their opponents to just eight points. The lead for Ergin Ataman’s team reached up to plus 18, but the Athens-based powerhouse ultimately created a dramatic situation for themselves. In the last two minutes, the home team went on a 13:3 run, narrowing the gap to just a single possession. However, time simply wasn’t on their side.

Luka Brajkovic was the top scorer for Kolossos with 22 points, while Kendrick Nunn and Luca Vildoza stood out with 15 points each for Panathinaikos. Particularly noteworthy was the efficient performance by the Argentine, considering he only missed one shot from the field.
Panathinaikos remains the leader in the national championship with a perfect 8-0 record, while Kolossos sits in the seventh position with three wins and five losses.
In the next round, Panathinaikos will host Karditsa, while Kolossos is set to face PAOK in Thessaloniki.
